So I received this "beach blanket" yesterday and opened the package. I was pleasantly surprised it's not really a "Blanket" it is however even better since it's ultra light and fits in a small pouch which is sewn on to the blanket. The material looks to be the same as what modern camping tents are made from. I will likely be using this not only under my towels at the beach but under my tent or even as a shade cloth from the sun when camping. I may get one for my boat for when i get caught in the rain. oh. there's a small zippered pouch for keys or a wallet so no worries about losing them
