First of all, the pillow does NOT need to be fully inflated for proper use. I only bought this for travel after deciding my current knee pad was too bulky to carry. I used it last night to see how it works. After three moves it looks like the first picture but VERY comfortable. The fabric is soft and the stitching is NOT uncomfortable like some other pillow reviews. However, as I said, it gets a little warm. The way I got around this is to make a small pillowcase that closes with velcro (yes, I'm a man and I sew with my wife's help). When I saw the small duffel bag I wasn't sure if I would get it back after using it. In the photo, a bag for things with a deflated and folded pillow. No problem. But NOT with a pillowcase! I am very happy that I received the pillow. Now I don't have to worry about back problems when I'm on the road and sleeping away from home.
