Nothing for those who ride in the rain, period.

Is the light bright? Maximum. Is this light easy to use? Maximum. Is this flashlight waterproof? Not at all. I've had this flashlight for almost a year now and I'm so sorry it failed so badly that I have to give it 1 star. While the light works great in 99% of the areas it's supposed to work, the one thing it doesn't is a total deal breaker for me. The picture represents what I had to do with the light to make it stop. spontaneous recording after driving it in the rain. The crazy thing is that it wasn't a heavy main rain, more of a drizzle and didn't last more than an hour or two. Everything seemed fine until about a day later when I noticed that when I turned on my light it was in a different mode than what I had selected. This continued until it started disappearing and I assumed the battery was dead. Fast forward to when it's fully charged, now the light goes out and turns itself on and off, switching modes like a possessed demon kid on a crack, AND the power button stops working entirely. Needless to say I didn't have the tools to fix the light and only had the ability to smash it until it stopped working completely. Over board? Maybe, but my living space is very small and my bike is very close to where I sleep, so the light show is going to be a constant nuisance since the light is so damn bright. I loved this light until I stopped. I will now be looking for a new flashlight to replace this well designed piece of junk (my personal flashlight which is now literally a piece of junk). For people who don't ride in the rain the light is most likely ideal but I ride in all weather and I need my gear to function in all the conditions I'm going to face myself so this isn't the light in my opinion To work.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
