Really bright, lasts long

UPDATE: I've used it on the go for 24 consecutive days without charging. The total driving time is about 40 minutes round trip, so a single charge lasts about 16 hours or more than 4 weeks of commuting. I am very happy. As for the low battery warning, I didn't understand that part. But now I know that there should be at least 3 weeks between charges unless I'm going on a long trip. And in my experience, the mount feels very solid. ------------------------------------------------ -- - I doubted…

Nice, but the first one started acting weird. Second, the same problem.

First flashlight was great out of the box and after several rides. Then he brought it in to charge one night and it wouldn't turn off, didn't respond to most button presses, wouldn't turn off. I ended up thinking it was off and it must have turned back on and drained completely. I'm glad I had a spare with me as I had a dark drive home. I'm coming back and I hope the second one works well because it was really great when it worked. ---- Update ---- The second one arrived very quickly - thanks…

Nothing for those who ride in the rain, period.

Is the light bright? Maximum. Is this light easy to use? Maximum. Is this flashlight waterproof? Not at all. I've had this flashlight for almost a year now and I'm so sorry it failed so badly that I have to give it 1 star. While the light works great in 99% of the areas it's supposed to work, the one thing it doesn't is a total deal breaker for me. The picture represents what I had to do with the light to make it stop. spontaneous recording after driving it in the rain. The crazy thing is that…

Great Value Tail Light

***Updated July 9, 2017*** My cycling friends and I recommend this light to our friends. I rode the bike behind the riders who were using this light so I decided to buy one => VERY BRIGHT. The unit is small, like a typical Planet Bike taillight, but looks great in daylight, while the Planet Bike does well in shaded areas and dusk/night - I don't plan on using this light in dusk/night, but I imagine if the intensity could be sufficiently reduced (I'll be using the Planet Bike light at…

Bright but flawed design, broke within a month.

This is my second Cygolite taillight and will probably be my last. I had a 2w cygolite hotshot rechargeable USB cable taillight that broke after 3 years which is acceptable for an electronic device. It broke in just 1 month. Such a shame. To make matters worse, I bought this light just before leaving for a bike trip abroad and had to ride over 500 miles without a taillight before I was able to find a decent taillight at my local bike shop. both taillights are the same so I suspect the design or

the light works. I'm not thrilled with the runtime. The flashlight is also not very waterproof. Water got into my lantern and it freaked out until it was dry. My 100 lumen Cygolite performs much better in the water and never hits a drop. I think the 100 redesign was a mistake. They should have left a better charging cap, not the one on this flashlight. It should have a larger capacity battery so that it can run up to 100 in the same mode. Would I buy this lamp again, NO! I would buy 100. I use…
