This is a very nice modern door handle! I was a little worried because I hadn't seen it in person and wasn't sure about the quality while browsing the web. Boy am I impressed! It is extremely heavy and sturdy. It's on the high end for the price, but it's such a solid, well-made product that it's definitely worth the price. It gives my plain old doors a special character and gives the whole house a new flair! I have installed MANY locks over the years. Most locks I've installed were entry-level. This lock has a few tricks and tricks that I've never seen before. Provided your door has a pre-drilled backing, the latch and escutcheon are very easy to install. The fairing even has a plastic support to keep the latch in place. I've never seen this before and it makes the whole build very reliable. When assembling levers with handles, things get a little more complicated. From the outside (key side) of the door you will need to reach through the handle with the supplied hex wrench to turn the set screw. The set screw you turn is on the left side, but you access it from the right side. On the inside of the door, the process is exactly the opposite. Once you get the hang of it, the rest of the installation is a breeze! If you are looking for modern, high quality door handles that look fantastic, look no further. I highly recommend them!
