Gets the job done faster with a router than with a flat router, especially when you are cutting a large piece of work or just making a small piece out of it doesn't justify the whole to run the machine. Just start bouncing because you can squeeze the device unevenly (i.e. the sides aren't fixed in a parallel arrangement) so the first few times I was in a hurry and wasn't paying attention, I had to go back and in one instance it bumped the layer a little.
