Review on Interior Residential Standard Hardware Controls by Cornelius Mosley

I bought satin nickel door hinges to replace the old brass hardware. The measured dimensions are the same and the Screws are in the same position as the old hinge's recessed mark on the door and frame. However, satin nickel hinges are thinner than old hinges, causing the door to hang incorrectly and rub against the door frame, resulting in surface damage. Unfortunately, the project was delayed , so by the time the hinges were attached it was already too late to return - the return period was only ONE month after purchase!I found thicker nickel hinges at a hardware store, like my old hardware.Lesson learned ☹️
