So the mirror arrived and I noticed that most of the reviews say the mirror is reversible. Actually, that's wrong. Mirrors have a reflective side and a glass side. The glass side protects the reflective side from scratches. My mirror said it was for the driver's side when I ordered it, but for the correct side to face out it had to be on the passenger side. On the driver's side it is upside down and the scratchable surface faces outwards. The difference is small, but if you look at the edges you'll see what I mean. I compared it to my other car and the Jetta's remaining good mirrors and they all had a silver interior. You might think it's actually the driver's side mirror. My theory is that the company only makes one mirror and prints half of it. You hope you don't see the difference and that the mirror is rear-facing for all drivers.
