I use this product on the new Honda Clarity. There are many videos on YouTube showing how to install it. Using a rubber mallet, gently tap the U-shaped railing around the edge. If you only use your fingers, there may not be enough force to push everything in. A small rubber mallet is required. When cutting, a piece of metal is exposed. I pulled out the exposed portion at both ends as per the product notes. Installation was easy. The product works as expected. Looks good, edges are protected.
