Review on Enhanced Viking 2.5 Quart Stainless Steel Whistling Tea Kettle with Mirror Finish by Nicole King

We have a viking stove so I picked up this viking kettle hoping it would have a base big enough so the flames from the oven didn't get around it whirling around - a problem we have because - for the larger flame of our Viking stove. And it works great; it actually measures about the same size as the burners on a Viking stove (see my photo). The kettle looks great - the handle looks like it will never come off those rivets and the glass lid lets you see the water in the pot. . The handle gets hot; I had to use the pot grip sleeve with the kettle. Otherwise it's a great kettle. Made in China. Nibbles: During the first wash, I noticed that water got under the handle at the top of the lid. I had to unscrew the screw to dry it. While this is a minor design flaw, I think it's ok if you only wash the inside of the lid.
