Description of Enhanced Viking 2.5 Quart Stainless Steel Whistling Tea Kettle with Mirror Finish

Includes 2.6-quart/2.5-liter stainless steel whistling tea kettle and glass lid. One touch whistle alerts you when the water has come to a boil, while easily pivoting out of the way for easy pouring. Surgical grade stainless steel interior is non-reactive, eliminating the transfer of metallic taste to your water from the kettle while making cleanup a breeze. 3-Ply clad base features an aluminum core sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel that helps reduce the energy needed while heating faster than traditional stovetop kettles. Works with all stovetops, including induction. The cast stainless steel handle features a heat break to reduce heat transfer to the handle and keeping it cool during normal use. Handwash recommended. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Great Kettle: Kitchen & Dining

We have a viking stove so I picked up this viking kettle hoping it had a big enough bottom so the stove flames didn't swirl around it - we have one problem lies in the larger flame size of our Viking stove. And it works great; it actually measures about the same size as the burners on a Viking stove (see my photo). The kettle looks great - the handle looks like it will never come off those rivets and the glass lid lets you see the water in the pot. . The handle gets hot; I had to use the pot…

Nice teapot.

The Viking teapot is beautifully finished. The base is a three-layer metal sandwich, and the top is mirrored stainless steel. The glass lid feels durable and the firm handle feels good in your hand. Overall the finish and looks are exceptional and well worth the money. The kettle has a large filling opening. It boils quickly and emits a loud but not piercing whistle. The handle gets slightly warm. The spout pours evenly, quickly or slowly, so there is no mess in the cups. The hole is big enough

Nice. in crockery

Beautiful teapot. It's not particularly heavy and the stainless steel isn't that thick, but it's clearly a cool, well-constructed kettle. The handle is comfortable, does not heat up, rises at a good angle for pouring and filling. The surface is quite bright/glossy. Although Viking claims the kettle's base has a thick aluminum core embedded in stainless steel, it's not a thick base even with the aluminum core added (which isn't visible). The whistling spout is nice, as is the tempered glass top.

Great Kettle on Kettles
