They give you a clear idea.
I installed them on my 2008 Ford Edge and they give me a wide clear view in my blind spot. They can be adjusted up and down after being placed on the mirror and have so far held their position. I placed the driver's side on the bottom left and the passenger's side on the bottom right and they work great.
