My fridge has a non-removable drip tray that drains water onto the kitchen floor during the rainy season. Then in the fall, as the water slowly evaporated from the pot, all sorts of mold and dirt gathered and stank horribly. This suction solved the problem. It allows me to pump water out of the sump every day, avoiding the buildup, spillage and growth of moldy manure. I'm sure this device wasn't designed for that, but here it is, it works!
