Im impressed with this product. It is of course a bit thicker than a matte film, but no more difficult to apply. I used distilled water in a spray bottle hoping that might affect adhesion as I have well water. Following the directions, I opened the roll and weighed both ends while cleaning the jar with Windex. Then wipe with paper towels soaked in hot water. Then wiped with a microfiber cloth to ensure there is no lint. I measure the height of the window leaving 1-2 inches and cut it out before putting it up. Works well and blocks light well. (I forgot to take a photo before posting).
