Very comfortable to hold and instantly sharp. The exterior is very aesthetically beautiful with blue wood inlay. Will get more for gifts. Very easy to hold from multiple hand positions. I use this knife often and it has retained its sharpness quite well. The cut is consistent throughout. I cook very often and have done so for many years. I've had many knives, good and bad, throughout my culinary experience, and I firmly believe this is the first. It is rare to find the perfect combination of high quality material and aesthetically pleasing appearance and comfortable hand feel. I will also consider a 3 inch version and possibly an 8 inch version to complete the set. Great knives! Edit: Bought another one as a gift for my culinary friend!
