Review on πŸͺž High-Visibility ReflectXL Shower Mirror - Shatterproof Design - Fogless Reflection with Easy Fog and Shadow Removal (Unclad) by Bill Wieser

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The mirror fogs up over time.

I had back surgery and had to start shaving in the shower on a stool. I thought this mirror looked like a decent price. Few things. First off, it's pretty small. You have to be close enough to have a meaningful reflection. If you take the time to read the measurements, you probably already know this ;) Second, you have to pour hot water from the shower over it for a few minutes each time you use it to keep it from fogging up. high. I didn't realize that before I bought it. Third, the mirror fogs up over time. I was told that I took a very long shower and that I could face charges. In this case, only the duration of the shave is important. I run it under the showerhead for a few minutes to heat it up, then put it back on the hook (which, by the way, sticks really well to the glass shower door). I lather my face and start shaving. About halfway through, I would say after 3-4 minutes, the mirror begins to fog up. At this point, it becomes a war against the mirror. I rub it with my hand and then make a few strokes, then I rub it again and so on until I'm done. It gets the job done, but I think it's a little disingenuous to say it eliminates fogging entirely. I didn't return it but that's only because my back is healing and I can now shave in the sink again.
