Not only does it work so well, it's very light and fits perfectly in my 1100ml Toaks pot. The coffee I made from it tasted better than any camping coffee I've ever had (percolators, teabags, instant, etc.). It was so good I bought it for all my climbing friends because they were so jealous of my first ride that they all wanted to join! It rinses off easily, I just flip it over and shake it off and then just rinse it off with some water. I was skeptical about being able to stand on the cup with those little hands, but it worked well. However, make sure you center it before you start and try to use a balanced fill technique. I like to pour slowly from the outer edges and work in a spiral. I use a heaping tablespoon of coffee grounds for each serving to fill my 550ml Toaks drinking cup/jug.
