Good product! And updated after 3 uses

So far I've tested it once at home and it works as expected! I've used it without a filter but then the water seeps out too quickly and you end up with a weak coffee that's difficult to rinse out afterwards. So next time I will use the filter for easy cleaning. Worked great on a hydroflask so I'm sure it will work on most things. Feels damn strong for its light weight and size. I'm sure this is the best way to brew coffee in the outback. I will test it on a hike next weekend. Will be updated…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • High price

Great for hiking!

Not only does it work so well, it's very light and fits perfectly in my 1100ml Toaks pot. The coffee I made from it tasted better than any camping coffee I've ever had (percolators, teabags, instant, etc.). It was so good I bought it for all my climbing friends because they were so jealous of my first ride that they all wanted to join! It rinses off easily, I just flip it over and shake it off and then just rinse it off with some water. I was skeptical about being able to stand on the cup with…

Not the best for camping and hiking

I like how it folds up very small and flat - great for camping/travelling. However, you must have a cup/container wide enough to attach it to or the coffee will spill out. I have a tall thermos which I prefer because it keeps the coffee warm/hot for hours. But its opening is too narrow. I can't use this drip filter with it because more coffee liquid spills out on the sides than with a thermos flask. Pooh. What a mess. I found out about it too late on one of my trips and ended up having to…

The best cup of coffee on the route!

I've tried many types of coffee brewing while hiking/biking/camping, from Coghlans mini coffee filters to French presses and more, and the GSI Ultra Light Drip Irrigation is without a doubt the best solution for personal use . and I would say also for small groups. It could be attached to any cup or mug I've tried and brewed a delicious cup of coffee in no time. I would recommend experimenting at home to determine the right amount of coffee grounds to get the desired strength (I use Cafe…

BUT ULTRA LITE MUST BE INCLUDED IN CASE

ADVANTAGES; Carefully brews an acceptable cup of coffee. Very happy to receive these chef socks. Almost forgot Super easy to clean. Dump the landfill onto the ground or into a compost heap. Then with two cups of clean water I was able to easily get rid of all the buildup. Compact design key. I've heard a lot about them. While the legs look like they'll break easily, they feel flexible where they fit in the cup and strong where they hold your coffee with water. I've only used it once but found…
