Easy Fix - Here are some tips

This was the correct part to fix the rear window on my 2011 Silverado and these tips apply to this car. Installation was easy, it took me exactly an hour on the first try. With these tips you can do it in 45 minutes. Don't remove the yellow clip until the very end - this is the last thing you do2. Remove the rear passenger side seat only (4 x 18mm nuts and 2 x 10mm bolts securing it to the passenger seat).3. To allow the cable to slip past the center seatbelt loop, you must pull the cable out of the driver's side idler pulley so you can route the exposed cable through the seatbelt loop (even a bare cable will do just fine). 4. I installed the driver's side cable first (to remove the old driver's side pulley assembly, pull the bottom of it toward you, away from the back of the truck, don't try to pull it out to the right). Someone said that the cable is stuck. After everything was connected on the driver's side, I mounted the cable end to the passenger's side window and THEN put the passenger's side pulley in the guide. I have no problem with it being too tight, it would be difficult if you installed the pulley first. Plus, all you have to do is unscrew a few screws and remove the plastic parts. You can find full instructions by googling, but these tips, which include things I haven't found elsewhere, will save you time.
