As other reviewers said, one edge should be hinged or flexible so you can squeeze it tighter to better clean dishes. I like this concept but the bristles are too far apart to easily clean large dishes. I wanted it for knives and chopsticks, but they're usually too thin to make contact with both sides of the cleaning brush at once, so it takes longer than necessary if I want to be thorough. It's very durable and easy to hold, and it's probably safer to clean knives than using a rag, sponge, or brush with a handle.
