Provides a safe, stable, and quiet heat source

This 1500W RevainBasics portable heater provides a safe, stable, and quiet heat source that works very well in my drafty old house. It's a short but heavy heater with hidden wheels on the bottom so you can easily move it to where you need it. The heater itself has digital controls, but a remote control is included so you don't even have to leave your seat (or bed) to turn it on and set the temperature. Even though it has a fan that blows hot air, it's so quiet I had to check if it's really blowing heat! It starts heating immediately, but as with all space heaters, the size of the room and the cold will determine how quickly it heats the entire room. In addition, closed doors and curtains will help the room warm up faster and retain heat. I've been using an almost identical heater in a small beach house and another in a small guest house for a couple of years. Neither house has central heating and both houses use space heaters in winter. This type of heater is by far the best we have used. If it is very cold (e.g. 30) when you turn it on, it takes 2-3 hours to heat up a 600 square meter kitchen. Feet well-tempered without a jacket, but when you sit next to him, you get warm immediately. . It also has a built-in thermostat, so it keeps the temperature you choose very well. In addition to the excellent heating properties, there are other reasons that make this heater excellent. First, it's very stable. It's almost impossible to topple this without using a lot of force. This is ideal for families with pets and noisy children. Second, the body does not get very hot. It just stays warm. The grate in front of the fan heats up, but that's a relatively small area. You are unlikely to burn yourself, so it is a good choice for the elderly, as well as children and dogs. Small children should of course always be supervised when the heater is in use. I also like that there is a cord compartment on the back of the heater when not in use. I have both a black and a wooden model. The black model is slightly smaller because it doesn't have a wooden case. The exterior is painted metal, but again, the case doesn't get very hot. The black heater has digital controls on top and an integrated handle on top for easy lifting. The remote controls for both heaters are identical and come with a built-in battery. The wooden model has the same internal heater as the black model but has a wooden outer casing and the digital controls are on the front instead of on top. The wooden model also has no carrying handle, but can be rolled easily on castors. The wooden model is just as quiet as the black one and heats up just as well. It's only slightly larger due to the wooden case. Both were packaged very well for shipping and I couldn't find any damage to either model in transit. Heaters are usually used in addition to central heating, but you can definitely use them as the sole source of heat. I use them in the downstairs conservatory where there is no other heat source and in the living room as extra heat. This allows me to turn the living room thermostat down and we can actually use the conservatory during the winter months. The price is great as it is a significant savings over other brands and works just as well.
