Correction: I used some kind of pipe sealant or plumber to fix leaks on the filter. No leakage after 2 days of use. The leak is back. It's not a very big leak, quite small, but over time more compound can be squeezed out, making the leak bigger. I am uploading a video showing the installation behind my fridge. I have two other filters that I bought. I'll try different adjustments on them and see how it goes. I gave this product 3 stars because I was looking for the bracket and other parts needed for my installation. I did a leak test before finally installing it on the wall and it failed. I used a ¾" PVC fitting which reduces the ¾" x ¼" to ¼" MIP X ¼" OD. I used Teflon on both fittings. ¼ Brass compression adapter does not leak. I hope this fixes the leak in which case i will edit the rating and review this filter housing is good value considering i had to buy a bracket for about $7 and no screws were included to mount the bracket to the housing, so add a few bucks more.I use a carbon filter which was also purchased separately.Overall it would be a great deal if it came with a bracket and screws to complete the installation, all you have to buy is the What type of filter you want for your particular setup.
