I was concerned about buying them because a lot of other reviews said the mirrors shook. After looking at all my other options, I found that the other options were 2-3 times more expensive. I said to myself if they wobble too much I'll try to support the mirror with foam or strengthen them somehow. But after installing it, I took it fully extended for a freeway test drive. No shaking. Last week I drove my trailer to southern Utah and then drove 40 miles there and 40 miles back on some of the worst washboard roads in the state. It was 4 hours of persistent rumble on a dirt road. All over the street were car parts from other cars that lost things. We picked up 2 shovels and 2 tow hooks that had fallen off the jeeps. I spoke to someone who drove his minivan down that road, came home and sold it because he was convinced the van would literally fall apart. The locals at the hardware store told me about some people coming down this street looking for a wrench and sockets because the bolts in their doors were loose and they had to drive with the doors open. So I doubt you'll find a better way to test mirrors than this. The mirrors worked great. They also don't rattle, wobble or wobble. I was very impressed. I don't know if the manufacturer improved the quality or if they just sent me higher quality mirrors. Installation was easy. Even though I had the door panels removed to replace the lock drives, I knew what to do. But there are many videos on YouTube showing how to remove the door panels. Don't let that scare you.
