I took everything apart and washed. Putting it back together safely is no easy task. The inner plastic vinegar chamber looks like it should snap into the plastic inner ring, but it really isn't. The whole thing is held in place by two gaskets and a plastic ring. If you put the vinegar chamber in the sealing ring, the whole thing wobbles back and forth a bit. If you don't place it correctly, it will fall into the oil. If you place it correctly and screw it to the glass part, it can hang crookedly in the chamber. Then it will not spread the vinegar easily. I regret my purchase.
