This microphone is much more powerful than expected, heavy with a metal body. a braid of rubber bands to protect it from vibrations that usually come from a table or whatever the microphone is carrying. Two windscreens on the front of the microphone protect the recordings from picking up breathing noises. I tested this microphone with a Samsung phone and an iPhone. Both worked fine. I also used an adapter to be able to use the headphones at the same time as the microphone, which is what you need when you're talking to someone. When I first put everything together, the person I called heard a lot of flapping in the background. After a bit of troubleshooting, I found that this noise was due to interference from the old headphones I was using, not the mic. Overall it's a decent mic to use for video recording, video calling, gaming, etc. Although this is my first time testing it with phones, I will mainly be using it with a desktop computer that doesn't. no built-in microphone.
