The lights came in a very long filament (336 feet). It was easy to unwind the lights with the spool they were wound on. The cardboard spool broke about 2/3 of the way it was installed and required a bit more force to prevent tangling. The lights are bright and the controller offers a blinking or solid effect. My problem is that after plugging it in I noticed that there is a cluster of 12 bulbs that are not working. Not a big deal since I'm back in the area with working headlights. but that speaks volumes about the build quality. I don't expect them to last more than 1-2 years from the time they arrived with a defect. Could have been a 5 star purchase but defective.
