It was easy to install. It actually works as described in the "literature". It was easy to block unwanted calls and unblock calls I shouldn't have blocked. What I don't like is that the blocker defeats the caller ID information on the handset. The blocker only displays a solid line of numbers, making it difficult to decide whether or not to block a call. I started making a list of numbers I didn't want to block. The manufacturer responded quickly to the problem. Their solution was to answer all calls and hit the BLOCK button if it was an unwanted call. They also provided instructions on how to program the blocker so previously blocked calls don't sound at all. This could be a solution if you only have one phone. We have five phones in the house (all phones just show 'Unknown') and we don't want to be limited to answering just one phone with a blocker. Look for other solutions to unwanted calls.
