I have two Dyson DC35s so I still have the original dock that came with my first DC35. This dock is identical except for the port for the charging cable. It has no hole at the top to thread the charging cable, which is very convenient. Instead, I had to thread the charging cable through the rear opening. This resulted in a small knot on my charging cable being on the back of the dock, creating too much bulk and not allowing the dock to sit flat against the wall. I fixed this problem by filing a little on the plastic tab on the back of the docking station where the knot on the cable rested. I used my Dremel power tool to sharpen the plastic tab on the docking station. Aside from having to set up a charging cable, this dock works well.
