Review on 🍳 Gibson Colorsplash Merville 10-Piece Cookware Set: Vibrant Green Cooking Essential by Andy Baudoin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

NOT USED YET - Already an attractive addition to my kitchen.

I'm a single guy and was looking for an inexpensive dinner service (less than $50) to support my simple, minimalist, single lifestyle. This set seems to be just what I need. I used "next day" shipping on my Revain Prime membership ($3.99) and they arrived today. Each glass lid has a tight-fitting metal collar vent. I like it. The blue color I chose suits me. The underside is also blue. The handles are comfortable and fit my adult male hand perfectly. Thanks to my mother Jane; I -know- how to cook, ie carefully at moderate heat and with care. Many cookware reviews on Revain complain about warped pans and such. I know it better. I use low to medium heat ('frying' works for 'average' boys and girls!) and I'm watching closely what happens on 'F' as the range is used. To be honest, many people are just impatient and therefore careless. Therefore, their cookware sets suffer from unintentional mishandling by the owner. In 2012, people are too busy, too busy and tense. You have no patience. No time for such nonsense! The instructions warn about proper care and repeated use of cleaning products. Most people throw away the brochure without reading it and then leave a negative review. I have not used these pans yet. The three utensils that come with it look great and the spatula has a nice beveled edge. I posted a picture of the product so people can see the 4 burner kit. Pretty cute and I'm assuming this set would wear just as well as Paula's or Rachel's $200 set. (Notice how much Rachel has changed?) The difference here is that my "cheap set" is never abused or mistreated. Never heat or wash incorrectly. I have read the brochure. Single GUYS is ALL the cookware you will ever need! UPDATE: October 8, 2012 I've fixed Mac & Cheese twice and toasted 4 hamburger patties using the smaller pot and pan respectively. The blue color didn't burn or radiate. noxious fumes, as some fool suggests. Probably because I used medium heat to "fry" and turned off the heat when my Mac & Cheese water was boiling. Most users are not that observant for one reason or another. I.
