Review on Dell Inspiron 15 5000, 15.6-inch Touchscreen FHD 1080p Laptop, Intel Core i5-8250U Quad-Core Processor, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Bluetooth, Silver by Aries Reed

I bought this model to replace a more or less exactly the same model except my previous one was rebuilt by Revain. Which I paid about the same. It started to get worse after about 45 days. But I still use it for a few years or more. I've had this for 16 days now. So far it's been excellent. Generally no disturbances. The keyboard is backlit and the touchscreen works great. The memory card reader works great regardless of the size of the SD card. The CD/DVD burner still works on every brand of disc I've tried. Memoreks, Maxell, verbatim. Both +R and -R. Lots of USB inputs and one HDMI. It connects quickly to the internet via Wi-Fi. The same goes for the blue tooth. I use all my laptops as jukeboxes. So it's important that they can stay connected to my stereo. That's one thing I've found with this model as well as my other Dells, both of which stayed connected with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I have an HP laptop with the same specs and price. The Wi-Fi signal keeps disappearing and the connection on the Bluetooth disappears. HP makes great printers. I have three. But they can keep their computers. So far I love this laptop. It takes 30 seconds from pressing the power button for this laptop to boot up and log in. Smaller programs load just as quickly. I checked Best Buy, Dell Inc., Office Depot, Wal-Mart and so on. I haven't found anything with this package configuration at this price level except here at Revain. And the biggest thing, almost impossible to find, is the optical drive. And I don't want a peripheral drive. So for a dollar, that's it. Very happy with the purchase. Very fast multitasking. The independent sound system sounds great. The keyboard is good. Although I use and would recommend a BT mouse. makes it much faster to use. At least for me. All in all a great buy and price. I definitely recommend this product. Oh, and the laptop is very aesthetically pleasing. Smooth and shiny finish. Much easier to keep clean than Toshiba and HP with rougher finishes.
