After installation the car runs great.
I bought iridium spark plugs for my Ford Taurus 07, he didn't like them. Gasoline consumption has gone down. I also damaged one of the old wires in the process. So I did a little research and found that platinum is probably the best choice for my Taurus. I also bought new cables. My car ran great, the idle stabilized almost perfectly (I only recently found out that my alternator is slowly dying. After replacing it NOW my car runs perfect). If you have a Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable with the same part number, make sure you get it.
