Product material looks durable, easy to assemble and is water resistant. Lady, our German Shepherd loves to give the door a thumbs up. This product helped a little. I love my dog but not enough to properly attach him to my new car. I decided to buy a better middle seat liner that had high sides that attached to crappy overhead bars. Theses can be secured by simply tucking the flaps into the window slots, but Lady is a big girl and eventually the flaps will fall out unless secured with velcro. I see they work for smaller dogs with just inserted slits, otherwise I believe you should use velcro to keep them in place.
