Opening eggs for breakfast isn't the most important activity in life, but it's always nice to be able to get the job done faster, more efficiently and with less mess than usual. Unfortunately, cracking two-minute breakfast eggs has never been an easy task without a significant amount of mess, not to mention the chunks of eggshell that always seem to be in every full spoonful! This device does a very good job of opening the shell and keeping those pesky shell bits out of the way. Well, this gem delivers what it promises. I gave it 5 stars, but you should be aware that it takes a little practice and skill to get it "right" every time you try. The bottom line, though, is that it's better than anything I've found so far. A little pricey, but the reality is that this is a somewhat frivolous item to begin with. So if you want it, buy it; If you need it then it might be worth reconsidering the purchase. Bottom line is I just love it and expect to have it for many, many years to come!
