Fine, but just right. And the reason is that the screw does not have a high thread, just a normal thread. It seems to me that this is a regular threaded rod. I would not have bought this product if I had known about it. This doesn't really affect the clamping capacity of the vise, but it does affect the speed at which the vise opens and closes, which can be an issue when working with different sized workpieces. The need to do 10-15 turns of the handle instead of 3-4 only aggravates the situation.
