Stay in the drill without any problems.
I don't have original batteries to compare to, but these last a good long time and I have had none of the issues with them not staying on mentioned in other reviews. They stay on just fine, even if I give them a gentle tug.
- For the money they work just use mine in heated jacket
- May not last as long as traditional NiCad batteries
