Review on πŸ› White Self-Adhesive Bathroom Protector for Decorative Sealing by Amanda Castillo

Comfortable and practical but not aesthetically pleasing

Good afternoon to everyone who reads my review. When installing the bathroom, we decided not to adjust the size of the walls in the place where it was necessary to install it. The bath was 150 cm in size, and the wall turned out to be 156 cm. That is, the bath did not fit at 160 cm. We decided to glue the curb tape somehow in a tricky way. Under the curb tape we have polyurethane foam. In general, as always. We wanted the best, but it turned out as always! The curb tape is sold in a package of 3.35 meters, the width in our case is 6 cm, that is, in a pasted form of 3 cm on the bathroom and on the wall. The package contains detailed instructions for gluing it. The tape sticks quite hard. In addition to degreasing the surface of the tile, you should try to glue the tape very tightly both to the bathroom and to the tile. The hardest thing to do is in the corners. It looks decent at first, but after about half a year it starts to turn yellow. Water certainly does not leak behind the bath, but I don’t like the view. Perhaps under a tile of yellow or beige color it will do, but under our complex lilac color with a white bathroom it doesn’t really fit together. This is what the curb tape looks like after 6 years of life in our bathroom, and there is no particular enthusiasm to re-stick it, but it is already necessary. The curb tape is produced in China. Has an expiration date, which is indicated on the package. We packed the rest of the unused tape, and it still has not lost its adhesive ability, despite the fact that the deadline has already passed. Which certainly indicates its good quality. Buy or not, Glue or not, of course, you decide, but we won’t do this anymore, it’s better to reduce this space due to false walls and go through after installing the bathroom with sealant. Over time, it can be updated without problems without spending as much effort and time as in the case of replacing this tape. Thank you all for your attention to my review, I hope it will be useful. Until we meet again at and happy shopping.
