Leads did not work with Harbor Freight Multimeter without mods
I have some cheap Harbor Freight Tools multimeters. They have cheap cables and two of them broke. I bought these as a replacement but the plastic wrap around the banana plugs was too long so the plug didn't go in enough. I took a couple of dykes and cut about 1/4 inch off the end of each one, after which I was able to fully insert the banana plugs into the counter. Now they work fine.
