These are my first tire shovels. I have never attempted to remove or mount tires. Bought because of the bead breaking feature which worked flawlessly. In hindsight I should have gotten longer tire spoons given the 20/20. Just for reference, I was trying to remove the front tires from my 2009 Sportster (Metzler 880). Removing the tire from the wheel was easy enough. The installation, on the other hand, wasn't. Once you get to the last 1/4 of the tire setup, you'll hit the weak point of the spoons. They are just too short to gain leverage. I had to get my girlfriend's help to complete the job. Note. I've heard Metzlers have some of the stiffest sidewalls. This makes installation difficult. Pros: Bead break Light weight Cons: Not long enough (not enough leverage)
