Review on Optimal Performance with the Cold Steel Leatherneck-SF, One Size by Tyler Fountas

Reinforced interpretation of an old naval combat knife made from D2 steel

The finish is even and the dark finish is applied evenly. The plastic handle is comfortable and practical, the end cap is made of solid steel. I've read some reviews describing this knife as "heavy" but it seems to be on par with most of my fixed blade full-stock knives. It feels solid and all my friends who have played with it have given it positive feedback. The steel is German D2 and the knife is made in Taiwan. The blade comes "abundantly" lubricated from the factory, the blade is very sharp. The blade length of this knife is just under 7 inches. This is a full stock knife and it has a useful tip that feels solid enough. Overall I would say this knife is more durable than the original Marine Kbars I played with and has better steel. I'll post more later after I get it into the bushes.
