To be honest, the binoculars amazed me. I did not expect that the picture in the budget model would be so good. I bought it with sight, in the store I looked at the same time as Aculon 10x42, expensive Prostaff 5 8x42, and expensive Olympus 8x42 EXPS1. The last two are almost twice as expensive. Out of all four, my 8x42 clearly stood out for its brightness, sharpness, and wide field of view. And yet, when with the purchase, I went up the hill to look at the river running below, at the distances opening behind it, I was shocked. It was as if another dimension had opened up in front of me! I have looked many times from here into my father's BPC 8x30, I have looked many times into my compact Nikon Aculon T01 8x21. What I saw in them was only a pale shadow in front of what I saw through the withdrawn binoculars. The main difference, high sharpness combined with a phenomenal resolution and a wide field of view leads to the highest detail in the picture. That's honest! I canβt find another description of the impression from the picture I saw, except that another dimension opens before you. Many times previously seen objects appear completely different, fully manifested in all details. I do not exclude that I came across a copy that was very successful in terms of optics. It's just, I can't even imagine how the picture could be more perfect than the one I saw. . As already mentioned here, binoculars work well at dusk. Relatively large lenses and moderate magnification have an effect. . Now for the annoying. I was unpleasantly struck by the abundance of loud incantations in the instructions for using binoculars in cold and rainy weather. Just half of the manual, in different ways, is devoted to how to protect it from various types of moisture and mold. Moreover, not only in the field, but even at home. They write what to keep in a sealed bag with a desiccant, then they write what to store without a cover on a shelf in a ventilated room. Which, together with a bad case, leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. It remains to be hoped that this is only reinsurance of manufacturers.
