I've been fairly nimble for the past 35 years and have been reluctant to do plumbing on my own home, but when I decided to sell it and retire south I had to pass an inspection and one of the big things I couldn't decide on was the slow moving sink in the upstairs bathroom. The plumber who worked on the kitchen sink said he would look at it and he has one. Calling it his "secret weapon," he used it to make money every week cleaning drains in small sinks or places where a full-size plunger wouldn't work. In my new house I had a slow moving sink (brand new house) but I have good old man hair and a beard so I take responsibility for the impending clog that will show up soon. In fact it started to drain slowly and a 5 minute session with it fixed it completely. Sit down and prove it to yourself, it should be in the bunch of keys you get when you move in somewhere.
