From my grilling experience, these are signs of a bad controller. I used plumbing tape to secure them.
Connections seem loose I can smell a gas leak behind the regulator. I don't think the regulator will fit because of the tank freezing at the connector and outer tank bottom. From my grilling experience, these are signs of a bad controller. I used plumber's tape to attach them firmly. I will test with my homemade oven but I like something more reliable and better even if it costs more.
