I like other slicers better
Plastic slicers (thick) and extra "knife" (why? hard to put in drawer) didn't work here. On the other hand, conquering the pit worked well for us - although I can see that others don't see that as right. For now I keep my old slicer (wire) and keep it to grab the pit and I'm not entirely happy with using twice the drawer space on a really useless tool.
