I started with the Weigh Safe ball mount with weights. The first one I read was £100. from the box. When I emailed the company they said there was no way to calibrate the scale and they would send new ones if I just sent back the faulty ones. The Weigh Safe replacement read 50 pounds. from the box. I ended up sending it back for a refund as they are obviously junk. So I turned to this scale further. When I received it the scale showed 0 pounds. Hooray! What a concept! No weight = 0 pounds! Yesterday I finally installed my Condor pads permanently in my motorcycle trailer. I was able to try different configurations with the total weight already estimated and slightly adjust the pad position to reach my target tongue weight. Now that the pads are permanently installed, the weight of the tongue doesn't have to be constantly monitored with something like a scale (which doesn't work anyway). This is the PERFECT solution for determining drawbar weight. I also have a car trailer that I use to transport company vehicles that need repair and/or maintenance. Since I only have 3 different models (7 cars total) that I tow I will use this to set the locations for each car (4 HHR, 2 Blazers and 1 Malibu) and then there is no need to always watch those weight language. Once installed, it will install unless there are other significant changes (like 500 pounds of stuff in the trunk, etc.).
