I'm still letting bugs through for fermentation and such
I've opened several cans of kombucha, 2 different cans and the bugs are still coming in. So now I use lids and strainers, but I added a coffee filter on top of the strainer to avoid mistakes. Have used coffee filters before and never had any problems. After adding a coffee filter to the top of the screen, I didn't notice any problems. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that it holds the coffee filter in place better than a rubber band and doesn't rust like standard. glass rings.
