Review on Hakko Soldering Iron Stand FH-300 with 599B - Prime choice for premium performance and convenience by Don Pintac

This is a well built, sturdy soldering iron holder. It has a decent weight, which is very good. My main complaint is that it doesn't fit more soldering irons. I ended up replacing my soldering iron with a matching Hakko model. I'm sure some other brands will fit if you're lucky, but not all. Maybe Hakko did this on purpose as it seems to me that it would have worked with almost any iron if they didn't just put a plastic ring in the hole in the holder. Using plastic seems like a bad choice, but it still works well if you have the right hardware.
