Product description says DOES NOT WORK with spoiler. As long as you don't have a very nasty high spoiler, this will work. This is a spoiler on my 2018 Honda Civic Si and as you can see the trunk fits right on top of it. The carrier came fully assembled and was easy to install, you simply attached the hooks to the top of the truck. The swivel mechanism is intuitive and feels solid, allowing you to use it in the up position when you don't have bikes. I only took one bike, my trekking mountain bike, and it seems to be very durable. I was never afraid that he would fly away or anything. The only complaint I have is that there is no way to prevent front wheel wobble under acceleration and braking. I put a seat belt around it and it helps but I can still hear it slamming into my car from time to time, I drive like a madman too so it might just be me who cares.
