The thing works well! I built a steel plate into my case and put a cheap plastic screen protector (not included) on it to keep it from scratching the back of the phone. Ready. Clean the car surface with alcohol and let it dry. Glue the part of the holder. Press firmly to activate the adhesive, then don't use it on your phone during the day. Don't worry, you've survived so long without using it. You can last one more day. It sticks well to my slightly curved surface. I pressed the glue firmly for 5 minutes to make sure it stuck. I've had it for about 4 months or more I think and it's still in there. The only thing is that the plastic on my curved part is separating a bit from the glue. So be careful with more curved applications. There's still 90% stuck coverage, so I'm fine. It doesn't move much if it gets stuck there. The positioning of the clamping nut only allows a limited adjustment. The least amount of room for adjustment is on the side where the arm exits the bullet (where it attaches). So keep that in mind when attaching the stand.
