Review on 🔧 Premium Engine Valve Cover Set for 02-07 I35 Altima Maxima Murano 3.5L - 264-985 264-984 (Set of 2) by Ben Balas

Bought to replace an original factory valve cover that was leaking through the V/C gasket. During installation, it was noticed that the spark plug holes did not line up with the tubes in the heads. As if the shape had shifted in the new valve cover. Since the socket in the V/C was still able to close the offset, the installation continued. After 100km of riding I again smelled an oil leak while running and upon inspection found a leak from the new rear V/C. The assumption was that I pinched the V/C seal during installation or it fell out during installation. , but after removing the intake manifold I found that the oil filled all three candle wells. Also noticed excessive oil buildup in the breather tube from back to front. It looks like there is an internal leak in the valve cover and possibly a PCV issue causing a leak into the spark plug holes and there may be a leak due to misalignment of the spark plug holes in the valve cover.
