🔧 Premium Engine Valve Cover Set for 02-07 I35 Altima Maxima Murano 3.5L - 264-985 264-984 (Set of 2) Review

On my 2003 Nissan Murano, the old one's gaskets were falling apart and oil was leaking out. I did my homework and looked at a big name brand store in my area and it should have been $200 for a valve cover with no gasket. Some online retailers had almost the same price but charged shipping. I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product.

For such a price it's a pretty good option. Had to replace the left and right valve covers on my 2006 Murano and you can't easily change the spark plug tube gaskets yourself so that seemed like a good bet. They fit well, but the holes didn't seem to line up perfectly. No leaks yet, so no complaints. I replaced the PCV valve with another aftermarket valve as I didn't trust this one based on the bad reviews.

Great product and comes with external gaskets. I was a bit skeptical about ordering this product because of the price, but they installed easily and no longer leak. At the dealer they are about $250 each, with my discount it will be less than $200 and I needed both valve covers, I could not spend all that money on a fifteen year old car, feel free to order these valve covers if you want to replace your existing ones.

Parts came very well packaged but there was oil in the package. The spark plug tube gaskets seemed to be in good condition and the valve cover gasket seemed flexible enough to ensure a proper seal. The installation came as no surprise as they fit just as well as the original. The job involves a lot of disassembly so I would recommend helping those with no experience. About 4 weeks after installation, the rear valve cover is leaking again through the outer seal. Even if I have to do this work…

Great quality and great price. Couldn't believe how expensive they are elsewhere too. The assembly is a bit tedious because the holes are not 100% like. But if you're handy and know how to make a screw connection, that's no problem. We recommend downloading and reading the Factory Service Manual before beginning. Also remember to lubricate the bolts before reinstalling to ensure they don't get stuck/break. Follow the tightening sequence and torque specs in FSM (they don't require much torque)…

and my research showed the parts fit perfectly, no leaks at the spark plugs or anywhere else. Part #13264-7y000 was the correct part in the number and part #3264-8j113 was the part I was skeptical about and did some research and found that it was also a replacement part for part #12364za30a. "NOW I'M NOT SAYING TO DO WHAT I DID AND TRY TO RESEARCH FIRST AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION. MONEY AND I HAVE. Bought to replace an original factory valve cover that was leaking through the V/C gasket. During installation, it was noticed that the spark plug holes did not line up with the tubes in the heads.
